IRELAND SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP

The Ontario Genealogical Society now has an Ireland Special Interest group, of which I am the current chair. Check out the web site at http://www.ireland.ogs.on.ca/ .

NOBLE DNA

I have been dabbling lately in having more DNA tested and matching up with an additional Noble (http://nobleofenniskillen.blogspot.com/) . If your surname is NOBLE, and you haven't already done so, maybe now is the time to have your DNA done. I used FamilyTreeDNA. They have an additonal site Ysearch.org where you can match up with other people!

John Noble

My great grandfather was John Noble, born in 1817 in Maguiresbridge, County Fermanagh. His father's first name is unknown and his mother was Mary. He had at least 2 siblings - Ralph, born in 1811 and Alexander, born in 1818.
